We made it back to school just before the rains came pouring down. We even spent the last hour and 1/2 of the day without power due to the high winds and lightning. We just read a book by flashlight to pass the time. It was such a great day and one of the days I look forward to each year. I am so proud to teach these kids.

Are you and Keara close? I know you're both in Texas and she posted some scary looking clouds yesterday! Glad Field Day got to go on - it's so much fun!
