Day 136
I received my new 50mm lens today. I'm so excited to start playing around with it. Today I just snapped one in the flowerbeds of the daisies. I wanted to see if I could achieve bokeh. I'll have to practice some more to get the lighting right, but not today. I'm off for a girls night out at a friend's to watch the season premier of Real Housewives of New Jersey. Reality TV is my guilty pleasure.

Oh, you will LOVE the 50 mm. Hardly ever leaves my camera. I'm excited to see all the pictures you take with it!
On a side note, did you watch the Housewives of DC? You know the couple that crashed the White House dinner? Well, his grandma was my neighbor and after she died, his mom sold me her car. Cool, right?
The bokeh in this picture is beautiful. This is the lens I have on my camera almost all the time, and I love it. I love how light it is.

I love my 50mm. Great bokeh and you're going to have a lot of fun doing other cool stuff with it. The sharpness of it is stellar!
