Day 138

Playing hopscotch right before dark. I'm getting used to my new lens. The biggest adjustment is the fixed focal length. So far I'm loving it.

Don't ask why she has on those winter boots. She loves them and chooses them over regular shoes most of the time. Wonder if she'll still choose them when it's 110 degrees this summer?

Your pictures look great! It does take some time to get used to fixed focal length. Do you find yourself shooting with a wide-open aperture?

I am so way behind on blogs! What lens did you get? I really want a prome lens :) My niece wears her winter boots with shorts as well, unless her mom hides them! LOL! This is such a fun photo!

Ha! Those winter boats crack me up! Kate would wear rain boats everyday if I let her :O) I love how you caught her in the air!! So cool!! Glad you are loving your 50mm :O)

Nice mid-air shot! The winter boots are hilarious. My guess is when it gets that hot she'll learn to like sandals a lot more!

I believe Uggs were originally made for surfers. These fleecy boots were made to be worn when the surfers came out of the water. Their feet were generally cold and these kept their feet toasty warm. So if she choose to wear them this summer she'll be right in style.
