Today was Kindergarten Rodeo at Cameron's school. The kids had a beautiful day to be outside pitching washers and horseshoes, roping calves (not real ones) and having stick horse races. Tried to shoot from slightly below her eye level. Another great event to finish up their unit on Texas.

Adorable. Great lighting and perspective. We are going to have my daughter's birthday party at a horse farm. She's so excited!
Awww! Look at the braids and cowgirl hat! I am not originally from TX but I am falling more and more in love with TX every day! I am now a sucker for cowboy hats!
yahoo!! so much fun
After looking at these pictures of her in that hat and the braids I was reminded of a very similar picture of myself when I was about that age or maybe a little younger. I've always thought she favored my husband, but this one makes me see the little bit of me in her too.
Ashley, one of the best places around here for bluebonnet pictures is in Grapevine. That's where we usually go. Last year we tromped through mud to get our pictures taken.
Keara, glad you are learning to love Texas. I'm a native and I can't imagine life anywhere else.
Love...love...love this picture! It's captures like these that make the effort all worth while!
Awww, she looks adorable in braids and her cowgirl hat!
