Day 33

Day 2 home from school because of the ice storm that hit Texas. We've been having these rolling blackouts because of the energy usage. When the power came back on after the second outage, we decided to fire up the oven and make some brownies. My darling daughter did such a good job licking the bowl it may not need to be washed. (just kidding)

Oh...oh...I want a brownie spatula, too! That's the best part of baking. 'Glad your power is working again.

Oh, I love "the look"! It's as if she's saying "don't even think about touching my spoon!" You really captured the moment! BTW, I was lucky in that our power never went out. Other parts of our town were out at random parts of the day, but we've had power all day. Yeah!

Yes our power went out twice too. My little ones were getting antsy so that is EXACTLY why we made cupcakes. Looks like we may get some snow down here and might be out on Friday. I kinda hope so!

Oh my goodness! It really did get cold in Texas. That's crazy! Great photo. Love that she licked it so clean :) My daughter loves to like the spoon, but before she does she asks, "Mommy, are there rotten eggs in here?" I always correct her and say "raw", but she always says "rotten."
