Day 58

It seems cliche to post a picture of a windmill being that we live in Texas. But where we live outside of Fort Worth, there really are windmills everywhere. People use them decoratively and some ranches still use them to pull groundwater to the surface for their cattle. Today all these wonderful icons of my state were turning at warp speed. The winds were gusting and I thought this captured today.

Very nice perspective! I don't get to see to many of these here in SA but I am sure I will when we begin to venture out a bit.

Thanks for posting this windmill. They remind me of home outside of Houston. I can't wait to get back to TX or "God's country" as my husband says :0) Nice perspective.

I like it. There's something fun about this type of picture. I had a blast when I photographed towers. I can't wait to do it again. Wish you lived nearby, so we could go on a photo hunt together.

Of course you know I love this one being that I'm a TX gal too. There is great old windmill within walking distance of me, so you've inspired me to get on over there! Nice shot; I love your perspective and the wonderful clouds in the background.

That is wonderful. Love the perfect exposure of the sky. Did you try opening up your shutter speed at all to capture the blur. That would be neat to do. :)
